Dental Imaging System

The SciCan imaging system has been designed by dentists and is comprised of a DynamiX digital macro camera, Image F/X image management software, and CosmetiX dental simulation software. Developed to take patient photographs without focusing or film developing, the DynamiX camera features a focal depth from two inches to infinity. The images can be directly downloaded into a PC, with no additional video capture equipment.

The ImageF/X software has comprehensive features and allows patients to view images at chairside for better communication and to improve case presentations. Using a familiar cabinet design, this software is available with full support and educational training. The CosmtiX software allows the dentist and patient to see what dental work will look like before it is done, and can be used for all types of restorative and cosmetic procedures, including crowns and bridges, bleaching, diastema closures, orthodontic work, and full and partial dentures.
